Having the perspective on a whip-start British woman seemed like the next best thing to being there.Spoiler alert, Donald Trump is not Adolf Hitler, and we are not... Fantastic book, you feel there may be some post-fact editorialising of the past, but it doesnt take away from the story and what she (and her family) had to go through. When it is Compared to alone in berlin (novel about the same time), the novel feels more contrived than the actual true story.
