This book was proposed for a BOTM / Stephen King Fans group read, and I thought, "What the heck; give it a try." Thank goodness it was a novella, relatively short, because I was glued to it for a day and a half! I can't believe that I gave it 5 stars as I kept waiting for something to be wrong with it but that never happened. I never... I read this in one sitting and couldn't put it down. It was so vivid, compelling and so full of twists. The lenght was absolutely perfect in my opinion; the flashbacks just enough to make empathize with the main characters and to let you know why things are how they are. I loved pretty much everything about it. Although I started to... Wow! This one really scared the hell out of me! Action packed with plenty of twists and turns and a very unexpected ending. Exorcist Road was my first book by Jonathan Janz but it won't be my last.
