Midnight in Europe by Alan Furst is a story of how ordinary people did extraordinary things when Europe was headed into the darkness of fascism and communism just before Hitler really began to power his way through Eastern and then Western Europe.Some may see this novel as being about as exciting as watching paint dry, because the events...
