But one terrible day, Heidi is collected by her aunt and is made to live with a new family in town. Heidi can't bear to be away from her grandfather; can she find a way back up the mountain, where she belongs?

Heidi is a basic white girl with a fondness for mountain air and goats. I cried a lot out of happiness reading this book....................The tears flowed out of my eyes without me noticing them...........The story begins well and is lively and after certain chapters (after the first half, to be precise), the novel contains only pure and innocent happiness.
