More About A Country of Strangers: Blacks and Whites in America
For some reason I read quite a few books that are from the 1980s and 1990s and I think about where I was in my life when the book was published. My daughter Anna was four years old when A Country of Strangers: Blacks and Whites in America came out. This is one book I wish I would have read back then but I probably never even heard about... Shipler takes, once again, a difficult topic it places his findings in real-world situations. This is a really great book. I strongly recommend this to anyone who lives in America or wants to understand America.
